 나처럼 외국어를 혼자 공부하는 사람에게 말하기를 연습하는건 매우 어렵다. 주위에 말하기를 도와줄 상대가 있었으면 혼자 공부하고 있지도 않았겠지... 어떻게 해야 독일어 말하기에 능숙해질수 있을까 이것저것 찾아보다가 Fluent in 3 months 를 발견했다. 허핑턴포스트의 외국어 학습에 대한 조언.. 어쩌고 하는 글에서 봤는데 링크를 첨부하려고 아무리 뒤져봐도 원본 기사는 보이지 않더라.

 It really hard to practice speaking for who like me, studying along. If I had someone to practice speaking with, I already have studied with him/her.. -_- I searched here and there to find how can I be fluent in German. Finally I found Fluent in 3 months. I knew this site from the article from Huffingtonpost, but I couldn't find the article I read at that time.

 Fluent in 3 months 홈페이지에 들어가서 가입하면, 그 주로부터 일주일간 등록된 메일 주소로 매일 메일을 보내준다. 학습 자료를 보내주는건 아니고, 외국어를 공부하는 데에 있어서 어떤 전략으로 접근해야하는지를 계속해서 이야기해준다. 문법이나 책 위주의 공부에서 벗어나서 일단 말하고, 시도하라 라는데 주요 골자인 듯 하다. 말하기를 제대로 못하는 이유는 지식이 부족해서가 아니라 경험과 자신감이 부족해서 라고 이야기하는데 듣고보니 그런것 같더라. 문법에 맞지 않는 문장이라도 일단 말하고, 말하다보면 문법을 어디서 틀렸는지도 알게되고 (누가 지적해주겠지) 그러면서 점점 완성되어가는거라고 이야기한다. Fluent in 3 months 는 이러한 학습법으로 공부하기 위해 어떤 과정을 거쳐야하는지를 알려주는 일종의 학습 커리큘럼 안내이다. 메일을 받기 시작하면 3일차인가 4일차부터 매일 외국어로 말하는 자신의 동영상을 녹화해서 유튜브에 올리라고 시킨다. 다른 사람 앞에서 말하는 두려움을 해소하기 위해서라고 한다.

 말하기 외에도 작문을 하는 방법, 혼자 외국어를 공부하는 사람들을 위한 사이트(질문과 답변), 유용한 문장들과 좋은 온라인 외국어 사전 사이트들 등 혼자 공부하는데 유용한 다양한 자료를 제공한다. 유료라는게 흠이긴 하지만 일주일짜리 무료 체험코스만으로도 충분히 도움이 되니 한번쯤 해보기를 권유한다. 주의해야 할 점이 있는데 돈을 지불하고 코스를 수료할 경우, 하루에 한시간씩은 투자할 여유가 있어야 한다. 나는 다른 공부자료랑 병행하다가 시간조절에 실패해서 메일함에 메일이 쌓이고 있다.. ㅜㅜ아까운 내돈..

Once you sign in Fluent in 3 months, they send you a mail everyday. It's not about learning materials. They will steadily tell you how to approach foreign language speaking. They tell you, try speaking, no more studying with grammar book. The reason why you can't speak foreign language is, you're afraid of making a mistake and you're lacking of experience and confidence. Although it doesn't make sense with grammar, just speak and try it. Once you speak it, you'll be able to know what's wrong with your sentence (Somebody will tell you). And that's the way you can improve your speaking skills. Fluent in 3 months is a kind of Curriculum guide to study in this way. Once you get a mail, they require you to record a video that shows you're speaking in foreign language everyday. It's for being not afraid of speaking in front of others.

 Apart from speaking, they provide various of materials for studying alone. How to write, Questions and Answers for studying alone, Useful sentences and good online dictionaries. You should pay for the course, but 1 week free trial also helps you a lot. I recommend you to do free trial. But be warned, if you're going to pay, you should need a hour at least everyday. I didn't know that at first. I'm studying with several other materials, thus I'm running out of time everyday. Many mails are going by the wayside.. :(
